New Kits for quantitative determination of HHV7, BK and JC viruses are available now

New kits Àmplisens® — JCV-BKV -screen-monitor-FRT and Àmplisens® HHV7-screen-monitor-FRT are available now in InterLabService company.

Àmplisens® JCV-BKV -screen-monitor- FRT

For quantitative determination of JC (JCV) virus DNA in biological material (whole blood, cerebrospinal fluid) and BK (BKV) virus DNA in biological material (whole blood, urine) by PCR method with hybridization- fluorescent detection of amplification products.

JCV-BKV monitor is important in diagnosis of progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy in patients with HIV infection and other immunodeficiencies and in patients with multiple sclerosis who are on natalizumab therapy, also in diagnosis of BKV-associated nephropathy in renal transplant recipients, and diagnosis of BKV-associated hemorrhagic cystitis in patients on immunosuppressive therapy after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

Àmplisens® HHV7-screen-monitor-FRT

For quantitative determination of human herpesvirus DNA of type 7 (HHV7) in biological material (blood plasma, whole blood, saliva) by PCR method with hybridization- fluorescent detection of amplification products.

The main clinical manifestations of primary HHV-7 infection in children are sudden exanthema and fever without rash. Neurologic complications of primary infection caused by HHV-7 include febrile seizure. Among other clinical manifestations is mononucleoside-like syndrome (combined herpesvirus infection, Epstein–Barr virus activation) . HHV-7 plays role in hepatitis, meningoencephalitis; development of myalgic encephalomyelitis, Kikuchi-Fouimota disease.
